About RegAMagazine

Covering the market the market ignores

Since the JOBS Act opened private-company investing to the general public, thousands of businesses have raised money directly from everyday investors through Regulation Crowdfunding and Regulation A. Brewers, medical-device developers, housing builders, drone makers and local service companies now publish offering documents with the SEC and invite anyone over 18 to invest.

Almost none of them get covered. Analysts follow public companies. Financial media follows venture capital and IPOs. The offerings in between — often a few hundred thousand to a few million dollars — are left to the companies' own marketing.

RegAMagazine exists to close that gap. We find new Reg A and Reg CF offerings, read the filings, and publish clear, consistent profiles so readers can understand what a company does, what it is selling, and what could go wrong.

What we do

  • Company profiles. A standard format for every offering: the business, the terms, the company's claims, the questions we'd ask, and the risks.
  • Investor education. Plain-English guides to how these exemptions work, what investors can and can't do, and how to read a Form C or offering circular.
  • The weekly briefing. New offerings, closing deadlines and notable filings, delivered to subscribers.

What we don't do

We don't sell securities, hold investor funds, or recommend investments. We are not a broker-dealer, funding portal or investment adviser. When you choose to invest, you do so on the issuer's registered platform, under that platform's rules and disclosures.

Our editorial standards

  • Company statements are attributed to the company. We say “the company says” when we haven't verified something.
  • Every profile links to the issuer's official offering page and SEC filings.
  • We currently receive no compensation for profiles. If that changes, every affected profile will disclose who paid, how much and in what form.
  • We correct errors promptly and note the correction on the page.
