Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard generally used to measure website accessibility.
What we've done
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines and a "Skip to content" link
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and descriptive page titles
- Images have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields have visible labels; errors are described in text and announced to screen readers, not shown by color alone
- Menus and expandable sections announce whether they're open or closed
- Links that open a new tab say so to screen-reader users
- Layouts reflow on phones and at 200% zoom, and animation is reduced if you've asked your device to reduce motion
- We test with automated tools (axe-core) and with manual keyboard checks
Known limitations
- SEC EDGAR filings, offering circulars (often long HTML or PDF documents) and issuer investment pages that we link to are outside our control and may not fully conform.
- Wide offering tables scroll sideways on small screens; each can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard.
